Some skiing applications for mobile devices are notoriously bad – and I mean bad. There are a few starting to emerge that are worth our attention, they actually have a purpose or achieve something. So instead of boring piste maps try iTrails 3d version, and if you’re having ski lessons for half the day you could get the ‘Ski School’ application to help consolidate your efforts when practicing alone (don’t use it instead of a ski instructor though – especially if you’re one for falling.)
