There aren’t many chalets that cater to small groups and families in peaceful yet convenient locations and it’s even rarer to find one with style. So when I found out about the soon to open Chamois Lodge in St Martin de Belleville naturally I thought it’d make a great addition to our collection at Alpine Guru.
Chamois Lodge will sleep between six to nine guests in three king bedrooms (that can also be configured as twins) and a triple bunkroom (perfect for the kids.) Although we haven’t been able to see the finished article yet the double height living room on the top floor looks like it’ll be a fantastic focal point in the chalet with breathtaking views of both the mountains and surrounding hamlets and villages. The property is laid out over three levels with a ground floor terrace and balconies on the upper floors.
The chalet will be operated by the same company who run another fantastic St Martin chalet: Chalet Abode, which is actually just one minute away from this new property. Both of these fine chalets can be hired exclusively for your party, or by the room on some weeks during the season. The service includes a chauffeur who can take you to the lifts and resort centre and sumptuous six course meals that are paired up with carefully selected wines.
