Chalet Illimani in St Anton

Chalet Illimani is a beautiful family retreat that combines the finest Tyrolian craftsmanship with a relaxing homely atmosphere. Situated on the edge of a forest, it overlooks the picturesque village of Pettneu am Arlberg and has views of St Anton’s Hohe Riffler glacier. The main ski lifts are a six to eight minutes’ drive away and there is a small local ski area ideal for children and beginners a few minutes’ walk from the chalet.

The front door opens into a spacious entrance hall, leading via double doors to the large drawing which has an open fireplace as its focal point. Furnished with aged leather chairs and antique Austrian hand painted furniture, the drawing room exudes elegance and character. The open plan kitchen and dining area has been decorated and furnished like a traditional Austrian Stube and can accommodate up to fourteen people at mealtimes.

The property can accommodate up to eight adults and four children in five bedrooms, with an additional staff room for a nanny should you wish to bring one. Most of the bedrooms are on the first floor with three doubles and a children’s bedroom with two sets of bunks, plenty of space to play in and a good supply of toys and games. Two of the doubles have en-suite bathrooms and access to a large balcony and one has a walk-in wardrobe and a fireplace. One double and the children’s bedroom share a family bathroom that has stunning Italian mosaic tiling.

The master bedroom is located on the top floor, with an en-suite bathroom and private balcony that has open views across the Arlberg valley.

On the ground floor there is a wellness area and spa with a sauna, cold-water bucket shower and a relaxation area with a large flat screen television. The ground floor also houses the games room with a table tennis table. There is a heated ski room with boot warmers that can be accessed via a separate external entrance, garage parking for one car and two external parking spaces.
