Villa Gella is located in the dramatic Rhodope Mountains in an intensely private location at the end of a winding no-through road. The chalet spans over one thousand square metres of living space over four floors and without question offers the most luxurious mountain rental proposition in Eastern Europe. The villa is located approximately seventeen kilometres away from Pamporovo ski resort, the second largest in Bulgaria.

The main living area is open-plan with a sitting area composed around a large wood burning fireplace and a large dining table that can comfortably accommodate up to twelve guests. Light pours into the living room through eight large French windows that open out onto a spacious terrace with an outdoor dining area with two hundred and eighty degree views over the surrounding mountains and countryside where many guests choose to spend long afternoons enjoying wines and local cuisine. There’s also an outdoor seating area set around a fire-pit for evening drinks and colder days. The terrace also features a jacuzzi which can comfortably seat eight. There is a professionally equipped kitchen from which the in-house chefs will prepare food throughout your stay. Villa Gella also has a wood-panelled library with a selection of books, a workstation and poker table. This is located on the ground level near to the living room.

The chalet has six superb individually designed bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and all with fireplaces. All the rooms have mountain or garden views and five have sitting areas. Two of the bedrooms can be configured as family rooms. It’s also definitely worth us mentioning the bath tubs as all but one of the bedrooms have baths next to the windows for taking in the views and three bedrooms have separate shower cubicles.

Villa Gella has an exceptional spa with a ten-metre indoor jet swimming pool, a steam room, a gym with free-weights and two showers. There’s also a massage area for relaxing therapies and treatments which can be organised in-house.
