Columbia Mountain Lodge in Kicking Horse

This bright and stylish mountain home is neatly laid out over 3 floors and provides ideal sleeping space for family groups, couples or individuals, comfortably sleeping up to ten people.

Four out of the five bedrooms can be configured as kings or twins which makes this attractive home very flexible. It is also a short distance to the gondola station.

Enter this charming chalet at the basement level which has the first of two master en-suite bedrooms with a mounted television, as well as a children’s bedroom with twin beds. A separate shower room off the entrance hall services this bedroom. The laundry facilities are located next to this room.

A wide staircase runs up the centre of the property and brings you to the middle level. To your left is a spacious, generously-equipped kitchen with a lengthy central island that functions as a breakfast bar. There is a comfortable reading chair to your immediate left. The dining space connects the kitchen to the living room and meals at the dining table afford stunning views across the Columbia Valley.

After dining, guests will undoubtedly want to re-charge batteries and get comfortable on the vast sectional sofa, which faces onto a gas fireplace, in the sunken lounge. Alternatively guests can soak in the outdoor hot tub which is accessed through an exit door to the right of the fireplace.

There are a further three bedrooms on the upper level: the second master en suite which also has a mounted television and two king/twin bedrooms which share a shower room at the end of the passage.

A double garage is accessed at the basement entrance and contains a boot warmer and ski and snowboard storage.
