Chalet Sous Les Bois in Chamonix

Chalet Sous Les Bois offers three hundred and sixty square metres of space on three floors and can accommodate up to ten guests in style and comfort. The chalet was shortlisted for the prestigious Design et Al Ski Chalet Of The Year 2011 award, singled out by the Daily Telegraph as one best chalets in the alps for gastronomes and named one of the world’s top five alpine ski chalets by the The World Travel Guide 2011.

The chalet’s interior has been designed to offer maximum space and light with wood flooring in the living spaces and bedrooms and stone or tile in the bathrooms and kitchen. The top floor is given over to a huge hundred square metre living area with floor to ceiling windows, a log fire, TV snug and a bar.

The five bedrooms which range from nineteen to thirty square metres in size all have super king sized beds and ensuite bathrooms. Four bedrooms are on the first floor and all have access to a balcony which runs around three sides of the building.

The ground floor has a large dining room with a table seating ten and its own separate seating area with sofas in front of another fireplace. The fully-equipped modern kitchen is across the hallway from the dining room. The fifth bedroom and the ski and boot room are also located on the ground floor.

Meals are prepared by a professional chef and the chalet hosts provide friendly and attentive service throughout the week. There is a driving service to take you to and from the ski slopes or into Chamonix town.
