Chalet Ferme de Moudon is an intensely private chalet just three minutes’ drive from the centre of Les Gets. You may quite easily recognise the property as it’s been featured in numerous articles and its’ construction was even shown on a special episode of Grand Designs Abroad where Kevin Mcloud described the end result as ‘…like something from a James Bond set.’

Ferme de Moudon was designed by the talented Nicky Dobree worked magic on the three hundred year old alpine farmhouse and created this elegant chalet. The property is located in the ‘Moudon’ hamlet at the end of a quiet lane.

The main living room is open plan with three main sections: the drawing room with light sofas that echoe the surround of the open fireplace, the dining area with grand-contemporary table and finally the restaurant quality kitchen. This large open plan space opens out onto a long balcony that has views across the valley and over the many trees that surround the property. There’s also a second living space or television and games space with state-of-the-art technology, giant plasma screen and access to a terrace on the ground floor.

Ferme de Moudon has five en-suite bedrooms spread over the four floors of the chalet, these can all be configured with either king-sized beds or twin beds for complete flexibility. Each of the rooms have a choice of feather or hypo-allergenic pillows and duvets with personal bathrobes and slippers as well as Jo Malone bath products.

The chalet also has an outdoor hot-tub on the terrace, a sauna and a massage room for therapy treatments and ultimate relaxation. There is a study for those who need to catch up with work and the chalet has a wireless broadband network.
