St Gervais is a traditional nineteenth century spa town with historic stone buildings and stunning vistas over some of the highest mountains in the Alps. Neighbouring Chamonix and Megève seem to get all the attention from the press but St Gervais is in our opinion an excellent alternative. The Evasion Mont-Blanc ski pass covers Saint Gervais, Saint Nicolas de Véroce, Megève, Combloux and the slopes of Les Houches in the Chamonix Valley. The resort has to be one of the best around for families and Chalet Royal has incredible service and a warm and inviting atmosphere.
