Chalet Rotstocki is a newly-built chalet which sleeps up to sixteen adults in eight double en-suite bedrooms. The accommodation is divided into four apartments on each of the chalet’s four floors. There are apartments for two, six and eight adults, all of which have additional beds for children. Each apartment/floor can be rented individually or larger groups can take the whole chalet.
The interior of Chalet Rotstöcki mixes Italian designs and furnishings and state-of-the art electronics with traditional Swiss alpine charm. The chalet’s generously-proportioned rooms with their high ceilings and large windows give a wonderful feeling of light and space. Balconies on each floor offer panoramic views of the village and surrounding mountains including the famous North face of the Eiger.
The chalet is set fifty metres above the neighbouring Hotel Schweizerhof and can be reached by a private underground funicular as well as on foot. Chalet guests can make use of the hotel’s facilities which include a wellness centre with swimming pool, saunas, steam bath, ice grotto and massage rooms.
