Chalet Maurice in Zermatt

Chalet Maurice in Zermatt is located in the exclusive Petit Village area and is reached by a private funicular railway leading up from river level. With some of the best possible views of the Matterhorn and Zermatt’s dramatic mountain scenery, the chalet is only a few minutes’ walk or taxi ride from the Sunnegga Funicular and the town centre.

Chalet Maurice is a luxurious and stylish alpine retreat which was designed by the famous architect Magali von Tscharner. The open-plan living and dining area is comfortable and light and filled with rich woods and fabrics in a muted shades of charcoal grey, cream and white. Large south-facing balconies on each floor offer the perfect place to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views.

The chalet sleeps twelve guests in six bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities and four of which have views of the Matterhorn. The luxurious master suite with its high ceiling and open fireplace occupies the entire top floor.

Downstairs there is a spa area with a sauna and massage room and outside is a sunny south-facing terrace with a jacuzzi and sun loungers.
