Chalet Ulysse in Zermatt

Chalet Ulysse is a luxurious duplex apartment in the Winkelmatten area of Zermatt. The chalet has an elevated and sunny position with uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn and is conveniently situated next to the free ski bus stop and adjacent to a children’s play area and a shop.

It takes three minutes to walk to the Klein Matterhorn ski lift, ten minutes to the town centre with its bars, restaurants and shops and it is possible to ski to within a hundred metres of the building.

Built in a typical Alpine style and clad in weathered wood, Chalet Ulysse combines contemporary design with classical Swiss architecture. There is a large living room with an open fireplace, a modern open plan kitchen/dining area, four double bedrooms (two with TV and DVD) and three bathrooms.

There is broadband wireless internet access throughout the chalet which also features cable TV, DVD and an integrated surround sound system. The extendable teak dining table can accommodate up to twelve guests.

The chalet is staffed by a qualified chef who prepares a four course gourmet dinner six evenings out of seven and a chalet host who provides breakfast and afternoon tea and services the rooms daily. Dinner is accompanied by selected house wines and there is an open bar available throughout the week.

The lower ground floor has a ski room, laundry and wellness area. There is a pine wood sauna, rainfall shower, WC and relaxation area with flat-screen TV and surround sound. The spa area can be booked for private use on request.
