Chalet Elista, with its spacious open living and entertaining spaces and location close to the slopes in 1550, has to be one of my favourite chalets in our portfolio, The blend of natural materials with both aged and new woods, various stones, the contrast between wood clad and white washed walls and the various contemporary and rustic furnishings create a truly unique alpine feel.
Entertaining and relaxation spaces are at the heart of Chalet Elista from the living room with its panoramic views over the Dent du Villard through to the games room and cinema.
The bedrooms have solid wood flooring and utilise the warmth of hide rugs and furniture, fur throws and blankets with super comfortable beds. Elista has been built with geothermic heating methods in mind and with natural building materials making it part of our eco-friendly chalet collection.
There’s also a mini spa at the property with an indoor jacuzzi that looks out to the snow through a huge curved window and a hammam (or Turkish steam room) with relaxation area.
The service at Chalet Elista is fantastic – it feels like a small cosy hotel but with only your friends and family around. Whilst they don’t offer an evening meal you have fantastic kitchen facilities and great restaurants through the various villages in the Three Valleys. It is also possible for us to arrange a private chef for one or more nights of your stay. The chalet provides a daily continental breakfast, a mid-week clean and a private shuttle to get to the slopes each morning.
