Chalet Edelweiss is the most opulent chalet in the Alps. Completed in September 2012 the chalet has a ski-in/ski-out location in a highly exclusive private residential area of Courchevel yet is just a five minutes walk from the centre of the village. The property is epic in proportions covering 3000m² over seven floors; a car lift provides access to a large underground garage that can park twenty cars, there’s a nightclub that can host one hundred guests and eight bedrooms sleeping a total of sixteen guests.
Edelweiss is the ultimate chalet both in terms of service and facilities and there is some incredible artwork in the property. The main living space is vast with a dining table that seats up to twenty two and a wine cellar on one side and three seating areas opposite. A grand hall splits the two areas and a separate kitchen is also housed on the same level.
The entrance level is where the property gets really interesting with the nightclub featuring a dance floor, bar, multiple seating areas and a billiard table. So if you’re looking to throw legendary Courchevel 1850 parties in utterly private surroundings then this is the perfect spot. There’s also a cinema room, library, office and a professional kitchen on this level.
The property has eight en-suite bedrooms two of which are large master suites. The main master bedroom has sole command of the top floor and has his and hers dressing rooms as well as a seriously luxurious bathroom and lounge area.
Chalet Edelweiss has one of the most superb spas in any chalet around with a sixteen metre swimming pool, Jacuzzi, bar and surrounding loungers. There are changing rooms, a fully-equipped fitness centre and of course hammam and sauna. The spa also features two massage and therapy suites for in-house treatments.
