Enjoy end-of-season skiing, spring sunshine and live music at Zermatt’s legendary music festival.
Founded in 2007 by Thomas Sterchi and Marco Godat as a singer-songwriter festival, Zermatt Unplugged has really taken off, attracting top headline acts and thousands of music lovers from around the world.
Taking place over four days from 4-8 April, the festival will see a number of aspiring singers and songwriters as well as national and international acts perform on 14 stages across the resort. You can enjoy live music in a spectacular mountain setting with the famous Matterhorn providing a picture-perfect backdrop to the day’s events.
Headliners this year include Michael Bolton, Nelly Furtado, Paolo Nutini and Jess Glynne but there are plenty of free concerts taking place daily from midday to midnight on the New Talent Stages spread throughout the village and ski area. After show parties take place every day from midnight in the club Vernissage, the Heinz Julen Shop, the Foyer Marquee and on Friday and Saturday at the Alex. You will also have the chance to sample local cuisine in the Taste Village which is packed with food stalls and chalets serving plenty of culinary delights to tickle your tastebuds.
If you’re in need of somewhere to stay then help is at hand as we have several luxury chalets which still have availability over the festival and can be viewed below.
