The Backstage Luxury Loft is the latest property from Zermatt’s best-known architect and designer Heinz Julen. The Loft is located in a quiet residential area of the town, overlooking the river and a short distance from both the church square and the Matterhorn Express ski lift.

The Loft has 600m² of habitable space and can accommodate up to 10 guests in five bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are in a small refurbished wooden chalet adjacent to the larger modern structure which is built in Julen’s typical style.

The Loft has a large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with steel pillars supporting the high ceiling and an ornate chandelier suspended above the glass dining table. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with light and afford great views of the town and the surrounding mountains.

There is a separate sitting room with comfortable sofas and a fireplace leading off the central space and the Loft also has a home cinema, indoor Jacuzzi, sauna, hammam and a small fitness room.

All five bedrooms have private ensuite bath or shower rooms. There is an elevator serving all levels of the building and a ski and boot room at street level.
