Via Lattea, known as The Milky Way, is a ski area in the southern Alps which straddles the Italian and French border. It comprises the French resort of Montgenèvre and the Italian resorts of Claviere, Sansicario, Sauze d’Oulx, Sestriere and Cesana.
The six resorts’ interlinked lift systems give access to a total of 400 kilometres of pistes suitable for all levels of skier. The small resort of Pragelato has its own ski area with 50 kilometres of sparsely populated trails.
