Chalet Baloo

Situated in the peaceful area of Les Bossons, surrounded by woodland, Chalet Baloo strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern luxury and is a great choice for both summer and winter holidays. The main ski lifts are between 10 – 20 minutes’ by car and Chamonix centre, with its wide choice of shops, bars and restaurants, is about 10 minutes away.

With a living space of 600m² set over three floors, a large furnished terrace and several balconies, Chalet Baloo comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests in six ensuite bedrooms.

Exposed wood beamed ceilings, traditional panelled walls and wooden floors provide a backdrop for beautiful, locally sourced rustic furnishings and cosy fabrics in neutral tones. On the top floor, the open plan living space has a double-height, vaulted ceiling, open fireplace and full-height sliding glass doors opening onto a furnished balcony with mountain views. There are several sitting areas, each with oversized leather sofas or armchairs, and a 10-seater dining table overlooked by a fully-equipped kitchen with a small balcony offering views of the valley.

Also on the top floor is the master bedroom which has a kingsize bed, fireplace, private balcony with mountain views and an ensuite bathroom with bathtub, shower and WC. There are four bedrooms on the ground floor, all with private ensuite bathrooms or shower rooms and all of which can be configured as kingsize doubles or twins. Two of these bedrooms have access to a shared balcony and one bedroom has direct access to the garden and terrace with an outdoor hot tub. The sixth bedroom is on the lower ground floor has an ensuite bathroom and beds that can be configured as kingsize doubles or twins. All bedrooms have Smart TVs.

After a day spent in the mountains, what better way to soothe those muscles than in Chalet Baloo’s spa area which includes an indoor plunge pool with relaxation deck, a sauna, hammam, massage room and of course, the outdoor hot tub on the terrace complete with sun loungers for those warmer months. On the lower ground floor, there is a fabulous cinema room with large comfy sofas, a large, well-equipped gym and a wine cellar.

Chalet Baloo has WiFi internet throughout, Smart TV with Netflix, Apple TV, DVD Player and Play Station. There is a ski storage room with boot warmers and garage parking.
