Chalet Les Sorbiers is a recently refurbished boutique ski chalet situated in the peaceful Nogentil area in Courchevel 1850. The Pralong ski lift is 65 metres from the front door and there are breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and pine clad forests.
With an overall living space of 230m² set over four floors and a large south facing terrace with an outdoor cedar wood hot tub, this luxury chalet comfortably sleeps 10 guests in five ensuite bedrooms. The top floor bedroom has a lounge area with space for two additional beds on request.
Full of charm and character, the interiors are a blend of traditional Alpine elements and contemporary furnishings, fabrics and wall art with a fun twist. The main entrance, complete with a retro télécabine, is on the lower ground floor and has an elevator giving access to the ground and first floor. On the first floor, a lovely open plan living and dining area has double height, vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows framing the mountain views. Taking centre stage is the open fireplace which separates the comfy lounge area from the dining table. A fully-equipped kitchen is adjacent to the dining area and there are well-stocked bookshelves lining the walls for those who love to curl up with a good book. Doors open onto a sunny, south facing terrace complete with sun loungers and even an outdoor bar. There is also a small, private garden.
Each bedroom has been allocated its own totem animal and has been playfully decorated in honour of that animal. Luxe furnishings, tactile fabrics and individual or unusual colour schemes delight adults and children alike and bring a sense of lightness and fun to each room. On the ground floor is Bear Necessities, the spacious, cool-toned master suite and two double/twin bedrooms – Wolf of Wall Street and Fantastic Mr Fox. Each bedroom has access onto the terrace with outdoor hot tub and mountain views. Cougar’s Lair is a smaller double bedroom situated on the first floor, just off the main entrance. Taking up the top floor is Eagle’s Next – a double bedroom with a lounge area in which it is possible to put two extra beds upon request making this an ideal family room.
Aside from the outdoor hot tub, other wellness facilities include a dry/humid sauna and a gym on the lower ground floor; and a massage/treatment room on the ground floor. Also on the lower ground floor is a games room/TV snug, ski room with boot warmers and a garage.
Chalet Les Sorbiers has WiFi internet and Apple/Smart TV in all the bedrooms.
