Located in the exclusive area of Oberlech with ski-in/ski-out access and stunning views of the surrounding mountains, Chalet Überhaus is one of Lech’s most luxurious properties. With an overall living space of 685m² and five ensuite bedrooms, the chalet can comfortably accommodate 10 adults and four children making it an excellent choice for extended family holidays.
The main entrance on the ground floor opens to a hallway with beautifully upholstered sofas set around a roaring log fire creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A staircase leads to the first floor which is given over entirely to a large open plan living and dining area. Contemporary furnishings, clever lighting and sumptuous fabrics in soft muted colours create a space that oozes Alpine chic and understated elegance. A central fireplace creates a natural divide between the sitting area and dining table which has seating for up to 16 people. Sliding doors close off the fully-equipped kitchen from the dining area. Full height doors open onto a large south-facing balcony furnished with comfortable deck-chairs and an eight-seater outdoor dining table – perfect for dining alfresco or relaxing in the late afternoon sun on those warmer days whilst enjoying the fantastic views.
There are five tastefully and individually decorated bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom or shower room. Set under the eaves on the top floor, the master bedroom has a beautiful stone fireplace, sitting area, private balcony, dressing room and ensuite bathroom with roll-top bathtub and separate shower. Also on the top floor is a double bedroom with TV and ensuite bathroom with freestanding bathtub and separate shower. On the ground floor is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and terrace access and two ensuite family rooms each with double bed and a set of children’s bunk beds. One of the rooms has direct access onto the extensive ground floor terrace with its outdoor hot tub set right at the edge of the piste.
The lower ground floor is dedicated to relaxation and leisure. The sleek spa area comprises a sauna, hammam, massage/beauty room and separate gym area. There is a large cinema room with big screen, surround sound and huge comfortable sofas, and a games room with snooker table, bar, library corner, sitting area and fireplace. Also on this level is the ski room, well-stocked wine cellar, laundry and staff room.
Chalet Uberhaus has WiFi internet, Satellite and Cable TV and an excellent sound system. There is a garage on the ground floor with parking for up to two vehicles.
