The Cospillot slopes and nearest ski lift are within 170 metres from the property and the resort centre, with its boutique shops, bars and restaurants, is a little over 200 metres.
With a vast living space of 709m² set across four floors, and accessed via an elevator, Chalet La Grande Roche accommodates 14 guests in five ensuite double bedrooms plus a family room.
Traditional Alpine exteriors give way to interiors that exude an understated glamour. Extravagant lighting and sumptuous fabrics and furnishings in soft greys and creams are set against a backdrop of wood panelled walls and exposed beams.
On the second floor, the vast open plan living area has a a double height, vaulted ceiling and large picture windows which frame the spectacular mountain views and fill the space with light. A large central fireplace forms a natural divide between the lounge and the beautifully-lit dining area which also has a corner bar and a black jack table. Both the living and dining areas open onto the surrounding balconies furnished with an al fresco dining table and oversized armchairs in which to sit and enjoy the views. Adjacent to the dining area is a separate, semi-professional kitchen.
The top floor is given over to the stunning master suite. Set under a vaulted, wood beamed ceiling, this exceptional bedroom has a chaise-langue set in front of a log burning fireplace, office area, private balcony, dressing room and an ensuite bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub and shower. The remainder of the bedrooms are on the first floor where there are four ensuite doubles and a family suite comprising two connected double rooms with a shared ensuite bathroom. Each bedroom has been individually and lavishly decorated and has a TV and DVD player.
Situated on the ground floor is an exceptional spa with an indoor swimming pool surrounded by large, comfortable sofas. A beautiful mermaid sculpture resides at the far end of the pool, whilst a swing is suspended above the pool itself. Other facilities include a steam room, massage/treatment room and a well-equipped gym with a bicycle, running machine and a selection of weights. An outdoor Jacuzzi and barrel sauna are located on the east-facing terrace on the main living level. Decorated in blacks and greys, and with walls adorned with photographs of Hollywood legends, the deluxe cinema room has a large, wall-mounted screen, surround sound and plenty of seating.
Just off the main entrance on the ground floor is the ski room with boot warmers and a games area and guest WC. A laundry room is at lower ground level and there is parking for up to four vehicles.
Chalet La Grande Roche is equipped with the latest in home entertainment technology and has an office area with a Mac computer, printer and fax machine.
