Chalet Ménor

Chalet Ménor is one of 10 properties situated in a private hamlet in Mussillon, which sits just below bustling Méribel Centre at the heart of the resort. The nearest slopes are five minutes on foot and it is possible to walk to the centre, or to the start of the ski trails, within 10 minutes. Alternatively, the bus stop for the in-resort bus which goes into the resort centre is 200 metres from the chalet.

Within an interior living space of 330m² set over three floors, this charming chalet of traditional alpine architecture and décor sleeps 10 adults and four children and is a great choice for friends and/or family holidays.

The ground floor entrance hall, with adjacent ski room, leads to the open plan living and dining area. Full-height windows fill the space with lots of natural light and frame the breathtaking views of the Méribel valley and surrounding snow-capped peaks. Comfortable sofas are set around the fireplace and TV, whilst to the back of the room, there is a 12-seater dining table and well equipped, open kitchen with a wine cellar. Sliding glass doors open onto a sunny, south facing terrace with an outdoor cedar wood hot tub and fire pit. There is a guest WC in the entrance hall.

Six bedrooms are distributed over the three floors. Each room has been individually decorated and features aged wood panelling and natural fabrics in warm, neutral tones. The top floor is dedicated to the master bedroom and an ensuite bathroom with shower and WC. The starlit night skies can be glimpsed through the skylights in both bedroom and bathroom. On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom which has an ensuite bathroom with shower and WC and French doors opening onto the terrace. A central staircase made of old wood and glass leads to the lower ground floor where there are a further three double bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms with bathtubs and WCs and one with an ensuite bathroom with shower and WC. A woodland themed children’s bunk room has two sets of bunks and an adjoining bathroom with bathtub and WC. All rooms on this floor have direct access onto the surrounding terraces or garden. The five double rooms have TV’s.

Also on the lower ground floor is the indoor pool with counter current jet system, lounge area and sound system. Glass doors open onto a west facing decked terrace, making it possible to watch the sun set over the mountains whilst enjoying a late afternoon or early evening swim. Set in the garden, a few steps from the terrace, is a barrel sauna with mountain views. There is a shower room and WC in the pool area.

Chalet Ménor has WiFi internet, Satellite TV and an iPod docking station for guest use. There is a laundry room on the ground floor and parking for up to four vehicles.
