Light pours through sections of glass flooring and the glass atrium at the heart of the property, whilst floating mezzanine levels and swing seats throughout are a clever play on space.
With an expansive interior living area of 680m², secluded terraces and a large deck backed by Alpine forest, Chalet Joux Plane comfortably accommodates up to 10 adults and four children and is ideal for those who appreciate sleek, modern luxury in a tranquil setting.
Entry is via a 15 metre underground tunnel that leads from the private garage and boot room before opening into the heart of the property. Wide, open plan living spaces on the second floor feature a spacious lounge with soft grey sofas set around an open fireplace and library snug with achingly cool Tom Dixon furnishings. Doors open onto private balconies and terraces overlooking the valley. Set on a floating mezzanine, giving a sense of being almost suspended in mid air, is the lavish dining area with mountain views. A separate library and bar can be found on a mezzanine accessed via a glass staircase at the front of the property.
The kitchen with breakfast bar has French doors opening onto the secluded terrace with a fabulous 23 metre indoor-outdoor pool and hot tub. Snaking right through the property, with an indoor middle section and outdoor sections at either end, the pool is perhaps the centre piece of what is already a stand out chalet.
