Chalet Shalimar is located in the Winkelmatten district of Zermatt, a quiet area on the southern side of the resort with great views of the Matterhorn. It is possible to ski back to the chalet via the Moosweg piste and in good snow conditions you can ski down to the Matterhorn Express lift station over the meadows adjacent to the chalet.

Chalet Shalimar sleeps up to 20 people in 10 bedrooms and can also be split into two apartments, Alex for 12 people and Elena sleeping 8. When rented separately, both apartments are completely self-contained with their own living/dining rooms and kitchens.

Each of the bedrooms has a private ensuite bathroom with bathtub and shower and all rooms have either a private balcony or access to the ground floor terrace. All of the beds can be configured as doubles or twins as required, making this chalet ideal for large family or corporate groups.

The wellness centre on the ground floor has a swimming pool, sauna, hammam and massage room.
